TitleVase by A D Copier for Leerdam Glassworks
DescriptionA bulbous, irregular shaped vase in clear glass with lines of blue and green through it forming an abstract pattern. The mouth is asymetrical and dips towards the front of the vase. A D Copier was a Dutch glass designer who was most closely associated with the Leerdam glassworks. In 1923 he became the Director of the 'Unica studio' developing modernist glass such as this piece. The Unica studio focussed on producing unique pieces by hand giving each one a slightly different appearance.
